

Inmate Trust Fund Accounts:
Inmates in the Dallas County Jail can maintain an inmate trust fund account and can access the funds through a bar code on their armbands. All cash funds in possession of the inmate at the time of the booking process are deposited onto their accounts.
If you wish to make a deposit into an inmate’s trust fund account, you will need the inmate’s name and book-in number and use one of the available options:
In person, cash can be deposited at a kiosk machine at each jail.
By mail, by sending:
• Money Order or Cashiers Check or Certified Check issued to INMATE TRUST FUND (with inmate’s name on the check), no personal checks accepted.
• Checks from a County, State, or Federal Law Enforcement or Correctional Agency.
• Checks from the Attorney Generals Office.
